June 6-7 CMC Autocross in Brunswick has been CANCELLED.
CMC regrets to announce the June 6 & June 7 events in Brunswick are cancelled.
The FAA is investigating a complaint regarding the space the club uses for events, and has instructed the Brunswick Executive Airport to halt activities in that location. For those curious, this also impacts the ProSolo and National Tour events the SCCA had planned for the same location this month.
The airport has been in continued communication with the club on this matter, but they have been told very little information at this point. The specific nature of the complaint and the source of the complaint have not been shared at this time. Presumably there will be some resolution once the FAA investigation is complete, but the time frame for that is also indeterminate.
The potential impact to the next scheduled Brunswick events (July 18 & 19) is also unknown, but there should be more information available prior to those dates. Once CMC has updates to share, that will happen here on Facebook.
Online registrations (on MotorsportReg) that elected online payment will have those transactions cancelled. (No transactions should appear on your credit card.) Registrations using club multi-event passes will be credited back to your MSR account and be available for use at other 2026 CMC events.
