October Autocross Schedule Changes

First the bad news: CMC regrets to announce the October 3 & 4 events at Brunswick Executive Airport are canceled. BXM were contacted recently by the FAA regarding additional issues with permitting to use the space. There appears to be no reasonable possibility of resolving these issues in the short time before the events, and therefore AutoX #16 and #17 will not occur at Brunswick.

Now the good news: The highly appreciated efforts of certain key members in the club have secured the use of Bass Park in Bangor as a substitute the following weekend! AutoX #16 & #17 will now take place in Bangor on October 10 & 11. Online registration in MotorsprtsReg is currently open for the revised dates & location.

Efforts are currently in progress to engage assistance of legislative offices toward resolving the underlying issues for future Brunswick events. Resolution is expected to allow for uninterrupted use of the location in the 2027 season.

The status of the October 17 & 18 events are uncertain at the moment. Most likely those events will be canceled as well. Further updates to come as information is available.
