Darlings Presents May 26th & 27th Autocross at Bass Park / Cross Center in Bangor Maine

We have a HUGE weekend agenda for the Bangor Area and why not kick it off with a old fashion Get together! Come hang out, meet some new people, Learn a little bit about Autocross and even see some of the cars!

Friday, May 25: Waterfront Car Meet at the corner lot of Railroad St. in Bangor. It should be a great mix of locals as well as Cumberland Motor Club Members from Southern Maine.

Saturday Day, May 26th: Day 1 of Cumberland Motor Club Autocross Racing at Bass Park, in Bangor (paved lot course). Spectators are free and can go for ride-alongs if they have a valid drivers license. If you want to prove that you have a FAST CAR and a FAST DRIVER you can compete in the autocross it is $40 each day if you pre-register online or $50 the day of the event. There is a $10 weekend membership for non-club members and a $10 discount for college students with a valid college ID. Open to all competitors with any make/model car, you just need to pass basic tech. 7-8am registration, driver’s meeting at 8:15am, the course goes hot at 9am.

Saturday Night, May 26th: First Street Night of the Year at Winterport Dragway. Have you been building your car all winter and want to see what it will do? Friend/Neighbor been talking crap about your car and want to shut their mouth? Settle it with some heads-up racing on the 1/8 mile! Racing starts at 4 and goes until dark.

Sunday, May 27: Day 2 of Cumberland Autocross. So you came and watched on Saturday? Come and compete today. I guess you could watch if you wanted to but racing is more fun.

Regular Bracket Racing at Winterport Dragway. If you succeeded (or even if you didn’t) at proving that your fast Saturday’s Street Night, come see how you do against the regular drag strip warriors.
